State Council of Educational Research and Training (S.C.E.R.T.), Assam, invites application from interested and eligible candidates for the recruitment of 34 non-gazette vacancy in different Teacher Education Institutions (TEI) under the Directorate of State Council of Educational Research and Training (S.C.E.R.T.), Assam.

Vacancy Details:

1.      Name of Posts	Lower Division Assistant
Number of Posts	5 Posts
Educational Qualifications:	(i) Graduate in any stream (ii) Diploma/ Certificate in DTP/ Type writing from any Govt. recognized institute. Proficiency in typing of official language will be preferred.

 

2.      Name of Posts	Laboratory Assistant

Educational Qualifications:	B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Biology passed with proficiency in computer application.

 

3.      Name of Posts	Library Assistant
Number of Posts	1 Post
Educational Qualifications:	Graduate in any discipline. Preference will be given to the candidates who possessed degree in Library and Information Science having knowledge in Computer application.

Educational Qualifications:	Graduate in any stream with any one of the following subjects: 1. Economics, 2 Statistics, 3. Mathematics. Knowledge in Computerized Data Entry Is desirable.

Educational Qualifications:	1. Graduate in any stream 2. Diploma in Shorthand writing from Industrial Training Institutes in Assam by the National Council for Vocational Trade or Diploma in Stenography from Government recognized Polytechnic of the State and having fluency in English. He/she has to pass the shorthand test. Minimum speed one should have is 80 words / minute. Candidate must have sound Knowledge in computer application.

Educational Qualifications:	Graduate in any stream and one who completed certificate course from Govt. recognized institution in Art and Craft (handy craft), cutting, knitting, embroidery and tailoring. Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purpose is desired.

Educational Qualifications:	Degree in Fine Ant from any Govt. recognized institute. Preference will be given to the candidates having Degree in Fine Art and B.Ed degree from any recognized university.

Educational Qualifications:	Bachelor in Music from any recognized University. Preference will be given to the candidates having Master degree in Music.

 

17.   Name of Posts	Librarian
Number of Posts	4 Posts
Educational Qualifications:	Bachelor in Library and Information Science from any Govt. recognized University. Candidates must have knowledge in Computer application and software in the concerned field. Preference will be given to the candidate who possessed M. L. I. Sc. from any Govt. recognized University. Having Degree in Fine Art and B.Ed. degree from any recognized university.

 

Important Information:

Age Limit: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD). as on 1st January, 2020 as per Govt. Office Memorandum vide No. ABP.6/2016/51 Dated 02.09.2020. This relaxation shall be applicable only to those candidates who have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to crossing of their existing upper age limit of 40 years. There will be no provision tor age condonation.

SCERT, Assam Selection Process 2020: 

The eligible candidates must undergo a written examination category-wise as mentioned in Column-1 of the post details above and other computer/proficiency test wherever necessary will be notified in the website in due course of time, Details of examination process will also be notified in the same website.

The date of examination’ computer/proficiency test will also be announced in the website https://scert.assam.gov.in.

SCERT, Assam Admit Card 2020:

The individual Admit Card will be issued through the website https://scert.assam.gov.in . No more correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

The candidates have to produce ail the original testimonials at the time of verification of documents. The date, time and venue will be notified in due course of time in the website.

How to apply for SCERT, Assam Recruitment 2020:

1. Candidates will have to apply through online in the website https://scert.assam.gov.in . Application forms will be available in the website w.e.f. 02.11.2020 till midnight of 22.11.2020. Applications received either by post or by hand shall not be accepted under any circumstances. Canvassing directly or indirectly will disqualify the candidature.

2. The candidate has to upload the scanned documents in JPEG/JPG format wherever required not more than 500 KB per document.

3. A recent passport colour photograph in black and white background on a standard size 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm has to be uploaded. The photograph must be in JPEG/JPG format not more than 100 kb.

4. The candidate has to upload a scanned image of signature with black or dark blue on a white paper. The signature must be in JPEG/JPG format in the size of 3.5 cm (width) x 2.5 cm (height) not; more than 100 kb.

5. The candidate should have registration in Employment Exchange. registered anywhere within the state of Assam.
