Educational Qualification:

Central Water Commission: Degree or Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
CPWD: Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
MES: Degree in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University;

OR

(a) Three years Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and
(b) Two years’ experience in Planning, Execution and Maintenance of concerned Engineering works.

Farakka Barrage Project: 
Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defence: Degree in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized University;

OR

(a) Three years Diploma in respective branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute or University or Board; and
(b) Two years working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of concerned Engineering works.
Central Water Power Research Station: Diploma in concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute.
Directorate of Quality Assurance, (Naval): Degree in concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized Institute;

OR

(a) Three years Diploma in concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized University or Institution plus
(b) Two years’ experience in the respective field.
National Technical Research Organization: Diploma in concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.

Important Information:

Salary: Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission.

Age limit as on 01.01.2021:

Central Public Works Department (CPWD)/ Central Water Commission: Up to 32 years
Others: Up to 30 years

Permissible relaxation in upper age limit is as per GOI rules.
