Eligibility Criteria
A. Officers of the Central/ State Government/ Autonomous bodies/ Research Institutions/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Semi Government statutory or Autonomous organization funded by the Government with the qualifications and experience as stated below.

Essential Qualification:
(i) Recognised PG qualification in any of AYUSH streams / Public Health / Health Management or Ethno-botany or Social anthropology / Biological Science/ Forestry/ Environment Science.

(ii) 15 years standing in the profession of which 03 years regular service in grade in Associate Professor / Reader or 08 years combined experience in post graduate teaching (Associate Professor / Reader /Asst. Professor), and at least 03 years’ experience in Research and Administration in an AYUSH Educational Institute.

(iii) Officers having 03 years regular service in the Pay Scale of level 12 of Pay Matrix, Rs.15600 — 39100 + GP of Rs.7600/- (pre revised) or 05 years combined regular service in the Scale of pay of Rs.15600 — 39100 + GP of Rs.7600/- and level 11 of Pay Matrix, Rs.15600 —39100 + GP of Rs.6600/- (pre revised).


Desirable Qualification:
(i) Administrative/community based experience of over 07 years in responsible category preferably in NE area.
(ii) Ph.D. in relevant Science.
(iii) Should possess a good publication record

OR
B. Officers of All India Services / State Civil Services having essential qualification as stated below:-
(i) Graduation
(ii) Officers working on analogous posts
OR
(iii) 12 years regular service in Group 'A'.
OR
(iv) Officers having 03 years regular services in level 12 of Pay Matrix, in the Pay Scale of Rs.15600 — 39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.7600/- (pre-revised) or 05 years combined regular service in the scale of pay of Rs.15600 — 39100 + GP of Rs.7600/- and in level 11 of Pay Matrix, in the Pay Scale of Rs.15600 —39100 + GP of Rs.6600/- (pre-revised).
