Centre for Personnel Talent Management (CEPTAM), Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Stenographer, Administrative Assistant, Store Assistant, Security Assistant and Other Posts under Admin
& Allied (A&A) Cadre.

Vacancy Details:

1. Stenographer Grade-II:  Total-13 Posts, UR-12, OBC-1

2. Administrative Assistant (English Typing): Total- 54 Posts, UR-33, OBC-7, EWS-7,                                                                                  SC-4 and ST-3

3. Administrative Assistant (Hindi Typing): Total-4 Post, UR-3, EWS-1

4. Store Assistant A (English Typing): Total-28 Posts, UR-21, SC-1, ST-2, OBC-4,                                                                              PWD-  1 and MSP-1

5. Store Assistant A (Hindi Typing): Total-4 Post, UR-3 and SC-1

6. Security Assistant A: Total-40 Posts, UR-27, OBC-8,SC-5, ESM-6, PWD-1 and MSP-1

7. Clerk Canteen Manager Grade III: Total-3 Posts, UR-3

8. Assistant Halwai cum Cook: Total-29 Posts, UR-25, OBC-3 SC-1 and Pwd-2

9. Vehicle Operator A: Total-23 Posts, UR-17, OBC-2, SC-2, EWS-2 and ESM-1

10. Fire Engine Driver A: Total-6 Posts, UR- 6 posts

11. Fireman: Total- 20 Posts, UR-14, OBC-4, EWS-1 and SC-1

Educational Qualification:


a) Stenographer Grade-II, Administrative Assistant (English Typing), Administrative Assistant (Hindi Typing), Store Assistant A (English Typing), Store Assistant A (Hindi Typing), Security Assistant A, Assistant Halwai cum Cook: Candidate must be 12th pass or equivalent.

b) Clerk Canteen Manager Grade III, Vehicle Operator A, Fire Engine Driver A, Fireman: 10th pass or equivalent.

Pay Scale:


Pay at level 2 (Rs 19900-63200) for all postcodes except Stenographer Grade-II i.e. Pay at level 4 (Rs 25500-81100) as per 7th CPC Pay matrix and other benefits as per Govt. of India rules.

Age Limit:

Candidate must be between 18 and 27 Years of age (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD/WIDOWS/ DIVORCED WOMEN/ WOMEN JUDICIALLY SEPARATED FROM THEIR HUSBANDS WHO ARE NOT REMARRIED etc. as per Govt. of India rules).

Application Fee:

Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) is to be paid by the candidate. The fee should be paid separately for each post code applied. All women and SC/ST/PWD/ESM candidates are exempted from payment of application fee, as per Govt. of India rules.

The fee is to be paid online through credit card/debit card/net banking.
