Indian Army Jobs 2019: Soldier Vacancy for 8TH, 10TH, 12TH published

Description:

Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible candidates of districts Puri, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khorda, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Jagatsingpur, Kendrapara and Nayagarh from 18 to 24 August 2019 at Gopabandhu Stadium Paradip, Jagatsingpur (ODISHA). Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 19 June to 02 August 2019. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail between 03 August to 09 August 2019. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card.

Educational Qualification
Class 10th / Matric pass with 45 % mks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading sys min of D Grade (33-40) in indl subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade

10+2/Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with min 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Educational Qualification

Educational Qualification
10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.

Important Information:

  •      Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 18th to 24th August, 2019 at Gopabandhu Stadium Paradip, Jagatsingpur (Odisha).
  • ·     Only candidates belong to following districts of Odisha are eligible to apply –Puri, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Khorda, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Jagatsingpur, Kendrapara and Nayagarh.
  • Physical Standards:

      (I) Height — 169 cms (162 cms for Sl. No. 5);
 (II) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for Sl. No. 6 & 7);
 (III) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms (81 cms for Sl. No. 6 & 7);
 (IV) Weight — 50 kgs (48 kgs for Sl. No. 6 & 7)

Note: Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per Govt. norms. Please see the Official Advt. for more details.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test.
